monody Terms of Service

These terms govern your monody account and the online services behind the monody app: sign-in, subscriptions, AI credits and the AI assistant ("the Service"), provided by BlazeApps LLC, {{ADDRESS}} ("we", "us"). Use of the desktop app itself is also governed by the EULA (monody.ai/eula).

1. Your account

You need an account (an email address and password) to use AI features and paid plans. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live). One person per account.

2. Plans, prices and payment

Plans and prices are listed at monody.ai/pricing. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to your purchase; prices may include VAT or sales tax as Paddle calculates it.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the app (Account → Manage subscription) or from the link in your Paddle receipt; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal; the change never applies to a period you already paid for.

3. AI credits

Paid plans include a monthly allowance of AI credits; the Free plan includes a small allowance. Each AI request uses credits according to the work it takes (a simple edit uses fewer than composing a long part); the app shows your balance. Your plan's credits reset every month (yearly plans too) and do not roll over. Purchased credit packs are used after the monthly credits and do not expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable. We may throttle or suspend usage that looks automated or abusive.

4. The AI assistant

The assistant edits your project at your request using third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) through our servers. AI output can be wrong, unexpected or similar to existing works — review what it produces before you release it. You are responsible for how you use the output. You own your projects and outputs as described in the EULA. Don't use the Service to generate unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to extract the underlying models or our prompts.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy (monody.ai/refunds). Refunds are processed by Paddle.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, we will offer a pro-rata refund of prepaid time. We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email or in the app at least 30 days in advance.

7. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time (support@monody.ai or in the app). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, after notice where reasonable. On closure, unused credits lapse; the desktop app keeps working on the Free plan with your local projects untouched.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. The liability limits in the EULA apply to the Service too. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be limited.

9. Law and contact
